(Newser) – An animal rights activist in Ohio had a plan for an anti-fur protest that went just a bit further than any stunt PETA has pulled: Meredith Lowell, 27, is accused of attempting to hire a hitman to kill a random fur-wearer in public. Lowell allegedly created a phony Facebook profile to solicit the killer, and noted on the page that she wanted the victim either shot or knifed at a library while she was present—so that she could pass out information about animal cruelty afterward.

After an undercover FBI agent contacted her pretending to be a hitman, she allegedly emailed more detailed instructions: "Bring a sharp knife that is at least 4 inches long, it should be sharp enough to stab someone with and/or to slit their throat to kill them." As for the victim, he or she should be at least 12 but preferably 14 or older, and Lowell allegedly wrote that she wanted them "dead in less than 2 minutes (under 2 minutes or 1 minute or less would be better.)" She was arrested Tuesday, CNN reports.

" At least 12 or 14." I'm not sure I have seen children wearing fur, unless, she's refering to leather,. she's a danger to society, loving animals has nothing to do with crime. I hope she goes to a mental institution or jail for several years.

Something is wrong here.RammRodd hasn't posted a marriage proposal for this woman. Has he died, or been banned from here? Not that I really care, but he was good for a laugh sometimes.
