(Newser) – A House Republican apologized yesterday after Talking Points Memo spotted a clip of him saying he'd have to shoot some senators to pass Paul Ryan's budget. "I live with some senators, I yell at them all the time, I grabbed one of them the other day and shook him and I’d love to get them to vote for it," Oklahoma Rep. John Sullivan said at a town hall meeting Tuesday.

"You know but other than me going over there with a gun and holding it to their head and maybe killing a couple of them, I don't think they're going to listen unless they get beat," he concluded, gesturing as though holding an invisible pistol. Asked about the clip, a Sullivan spokesperson said, "The Congressman offers his sincere apologies to anyone he offended and for using a poor choice of words."

Perhaps this guy could be a real leader for the GOP and take himself out.

Who ever it was he put his hands on, should bring charges.

Yep another moron quipping about his frustrations regarding his job. Now only if Newser would report on some of the quips Joe Biden has made in public. "RAPES AND MURDERS will go UP! IF WE DON'T PASS THIS JOBS BILL!" Then repeated because he thought the reporter didn't hear him the first time. WoW!
