Physicist stars in cameo April 5

(Newser) – The Big Bang Theory just got a big guest star: Famed physicist Stephen Hawking filmed a cameo as himself last Friday, the New York Post reports. The sitcom, which focuses on a group of scientist friends, has been trying to snag Hawking for years, but health issues kept him from making an appearance. His cameo airs on the April 5 episode, TV Guide notes.
