(Newser) Love it or hate it, you can't argue that Game Change was a good move for HBO: The movie debuted Saturday to an average of 2.1 million viewers, the largest audience for an original-film premiere on the channel in nearly eight years. A total of 3.6 million viewers watched its four showings over the weekend, BusinessWeek reports. The film, which charted Sarah Palin's rise, was based on portions of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann's book of the same name.

Great movie. It just showed how unfit she was. She was ignorant and stupid. McCain should have his ass kicked twenty times a day for bringing this bimbo out of the frozen state with her brain still frozen.

OK, whatever. What I want to know is: what was on eight years ago that got such a big audience.

"Biggest HBO audience" to watch a fake Sarah Palin; but a much larger audience watched "Sarah Palin's Alaska" on Discovery. Real or fake, fact or fiction, Gorgeous Governor Sarah Palin is Big Name, Big News.
