(Newser) – "Take Your Kids to Work Day" was quite the titillating experience at the State Department this year. Despite the presence of youngsters, reporters didn't censor their questions about the Secret Service sex scandal at a Q&A yesterday, Politico reports. They mentioned sex seven times, prostitution four times, and strippers once. Occasionally, journalists did edit their questions for content. "I’m trying to turn this down to a G rating," said one. A State spokesperson had some advice for parents, according to the transcript: "You can explain all of this later," she said.

"I'm sorry, I'm a reporter and can't get my JOB done because you all thought it was appropriate to have your children in the room at this time, and that's somehow my fault....  Yeah, I'll make this 'g-rated'."
