(Newser) – Could the Bachelor host be the next Bachelor? Chris Harrison is ending his marriage after 18 years and two children together, his rep confirmed yesterday. Harrison, 40, has hosted the ABC dating series and its spinoffs since it first came on the air in 2002, the AP reports. "Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children," the couple says in a statement.

yep,he got too wrapped up in the glamour with teary eyed drunken beauties, wanting true luv! right! You know what i say to him! stay with your wife and kids! there will never be a replacement for them! work it out! but do not walk out! Get your marriage right, leave the show if you have to,The show needs to have someone hosting that is not married. Married men should not host a show like this That may be why his 18 year marriage may end,the kids need a dad!

"our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children" I nominate this for the PR trophy cup of the year.
