Is there anything Vladimir Putin can't do? Russia's old/new president celebrated his inauguration by lacing up his skates for an amateur hockey team and scoring the winning goal against a team of hockey legends, Russia Today reports. The game was a season-ending exhibition between select members of the Russian Amateur Hockey League and a team of Russian hockey legends, like two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vyacheslav Fetisov.

And wouldn't you know it, Putin somehow, in a way that we are sure was not predetermined at all, managed to score almost as soon as he hit the ice, then set up a game-tying goal late in the game, and, finally, put the game-winning penalty shot in the back of the net. And thus did Putin add "hockey star" to his growing resume, alongside singer, underwater treasure hunter, whaler, artist, outdoorsman, and topless male model. (More Vladimir Putin stories.)
