What’s it like to have Queen Elizabeth as your royal grandma? “'Behind closed doors, she's our grandmother, it's as simple as that,” Prince Harry tells Katie Couric in a rare interview on the subject. Even so, “As I learned from growing up, you don't mess with your grandmother,” says Prince William in a preview of the May 29 special, which marks the queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration a few days later.
The interview includes lighthearted moments, such as Couric striking a dance pose with Harry, as well as a tour of Buckingham Palace where Couric is shown how to access a secret door. Harry also reveals that the queen has not friended him on Facebook, the Daily Mail notes. Given their well-known reluctance to be interviewed, the sit-down is quite a coup for Couric, who launches her new talk show in September.
