(Newser) – Charlize Theron says she’s not actually a single mom to new son Jackson—because she has help from her dogs. Yesterday on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Theron explained that her two rescue dogs immediately took to Jackson after she adopted him in March, People reports. "It was the most beautiful thing I've ever witnessed," she says. "From the moment this baby came into our home, those two dogs have never been more in love."

"People keep saying, 'Oh you're a single mom,' and I'm like, 'Actually, I'm not. I got two boys helping me out.' It's incredible," she adds. Her terrier mutt, Berkley, likes to steal Jackson’s pacifiers, while pit bull Blue "woke up with me for every feed, for every change, and whenever the baby would cry the pit would start crying," she says. "He'll do anything for that baby."

When the Pit Bull rips off the kid's arm when it's 3 "just playing" blame it on Theron. Pit Bulls have been bred for 150 years to kill other dogs viciously and quickly. No other purpose you dumb fucks. Being nice to a Pit Bull only pretends to keep them "nice". Until they are triggered to viciously kill kids, neighbors, old ladies, neighbor's dogs. whatever is handy to rip to shreds. I am a lifelong dog owner including dangerous Chows and Dobermans. My dad kept Chows and one was okay. The other bit all three of me and my 2 sisters IN THE FACE and my dad kept the dog for protection. Pit Bulls are far worse than Chows. Chows just bite - they don't thrash and kill. Pit Bulls should be extincted. They are unpredictable and occasionally DO KILL PEOPLE. It is a fact.

Pitbulls are like any other dog -- it's all in how they're raised. Like any other pet if you want them to be calm get them spayed or neutered. All dogs will bond to their pack and that includes babies. Dogs and cats both understand that you have to treat baby anythings gently. If you notice otherwise you may need to find a new home for the pet. I hate to say it but it's true: when dogs go bad it's frequently the fault of the owner/handler. Dogs understand who's the head of the pack. If it's the dog then there will be trouble. Dogs need time and attention and training re-enforcement on a pretty consistent basis.
