Imagine, for a moment, that you're driving down the highway some night, minding your own business, when suddenly hundreds of sheep fall from the sky and smash into your windshield. That's what happened to motorists in Melbourne yesterday, as a truck carrying 400 sheep crashed and tipped over on a bridge, spilling the unfortunate wooly creatures onto the highway below, the Telegraph reports.
"First of all we looked up and we could see the truck flip on its side and the next minute we were underneath and well yeah it rained sheep," said one passenger caught in the downpour. Miraculously, no humans were harmed in the incident. Many sheep were killed, however, while others survived the fall and could be seen roaming about the scene. Police are now trying to figure out why the truck flipped, and to right it without harming the sheep still inside. Less »
