John Mayer: Taylor Swift 'Humiliated Me'

Her song 'Dear John' was undeserved ... oh, and it's bad, too

(Newser) – We can think of so, so many reasons why John Mayer could feel humiliated. (Like his unfortunate love affair with cowboy hats; check photo gallery for evidence.) But what's truly humiliating, apparently, is a 2010 song onetime love interest Taylor Swift supposedly wrote abut him. In the latest edition of Rolling Stone, Mayer cops to being "really humiliated" by "Dear John," which references "your dark twisted games."

"I didn't deserve it," explains Mayer. "It was a really lousy thing for her to do." And let him count the ways in which Swift was lousy. No. 2: "I never got an email. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard." And No. 3: "I will say as a songwriter that I think it's kind of cheap songwriting." Click for more from the interview, or read up on 12 more ex-lovers who were blasted in song.

Mayer, I didn't care one bit about you until seeing you on a dvd at a concert, I think an SRV tribute gig, bending notes and asking the audience, "Can you feel that?" Since then, I have taken a very active position against you. To this end...fuck off.
