(Newser) – George Zimmerman's wife is in jail now, too, at least until she posts bond. Florida police arrested 25-year-old Shellie Zimmerman today on a count of perjury and booked her into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, reports Bay News 9. Both she and her husband were accused of lying to the court in April during his bond hearing about how much money they had, specifically about how much had been raised via a website for his defense bills in the Trayvon Martin shooting. Shellie Zimmerman is in the same jail as her husband, though she is expected to be out soon on $1,000 bond.

Shellie will have her bond revoked if the feds arrest her for structuring funds. It would be best for her safety if she waited trial in a federal cell on suicide watch; the farm grown gal can serve up to 15 years. Jail house snitches say that Zimm will confess to murdering Tray if his wife is freed and allowed to qualify for public assistance.

She is accused of being more sinful than Ilsa Koch and Zimm is accused of being more evil than a concentration camp commandant. But Shellie is standing by her innocent husband and Zimm stands by the reason for shooting a twin of Darth Veda.

Never stand by your man at a bond hearing and lie about a loved ones financial worth. Now Shellie can only stand by a judge as he sentences her to 5 years, the feds also want their pound of flesh, structuring funds is a felony punishable by up to 15 years. Shellie has learned the hard way to never stand by your man when the powerful want him to spend the rest of his life in prison.
