(NEWSER) - Tony Romo's injured pinkie spelled doom for the Dallas Cowboys again as the New York Giants pummeled them 35-14 today, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. In other games:

• The Tennessee Titans continued their unbeaten streak by outlasting the Green Bay Packers 19-16 in overtime, USA Today reports.
• The Atlanta Falcons held the Oakland Raiders to no first downs and negative yards in the first half of a debilitating 24-0 victory.

(NEWSER) - Nashville police reports shed a little more light on the Vince Young saga of earlier this week. The Titans asked police to look for him because he had mentioned suicide to his therapist after Sunday's loss and left his house with a gun, City Paper reports. The QB was tracked down at a friend's house, where he was watching football. Police found an unloaded weapon in his car's glove compartment. Young was booed and injured in Sunday's loss and admitted being rattled by it, but now says he's fine. More»
