(Newser) – Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are "richer than you," TMZ declares, and they've gone and proved it by spending somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 million on a new house. The mansion in question, built by famous architect Windsor Smith in 2011, is one of LA's swankiest estates, with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. TMZ has tons of photos, all of which are guaranteed to make you seethe with jealousy.

They'll need to spend another few million on new furniture and other interior design improvements. That living room is UGLY with its mid-century furniture. The layout of the house is lovely. Very traditional architecture. It really isn't a mansion in any sense of the word. It's a large house. With a lot of windows. I hope the back of the lot is well protected because the paparazzi will have a field day if it isn't.

What a crappy slideshow on TMZ.   14 pictures of the lawn, no pictures of bedrooms or baths.
