A court is considering charges against Mohammed Shawabka after the not-so-diplomatic incident. "He was going to shoot me and he should be punished for that," says Mansour Seif-Eddine Murad.
Here's how the course of events played out on Thursday night: Shawabka called Murad a "spy" for Assad; Murad then called Shawabka a "Mossad agent" and "mafia thief." After throwing his shoe at Murad, who hid under a table that then tipped over, Shawabka pulled out the gun, a silver pistol that was tucked into his waistband, the AP reports.
