(Newser) – An, er, innovative take on the adoption process: A Kentucky couple has been arrested and charged with human trafficking after allegedly trading their truck for a friend's baby. Jamie and Jeremy Brown are accused of giving their truck to Heather Kaminskey, who'd recently given birth to a boy, police say. The couple kept the newborn healthy, authorities note. Officials are now looking for Kaminskey, who they say may be in Florida. She reportedly followed the baby-for-truck trade with a truck-for-meth transaction, in which she also received $800, WKYT reports.

Not the baby in question.

Also, I just watched 'Prozac Nation" on TV and in one scene there is a copy of the iconic Dylan poster that came with one of his albums, on the wall in the scene. And, over to the right on this page is an ad that has the same poster in it. How weird.

I read the headline wrong. I thought it said that they traded the baby for a truck and I thought the article was going to be about how they went for months with goofy, ecstatic smiles on their faces, as they drove the new truck and kept repeating "Baby?" "What baby?" until they got caught.
