Kelly Ripa is finally getting a permanent replacement for Regis Philbin after nearly year, and Broadcasting & Cable says it's former NFL star Michael Strahan. ABC wouldn't confirm, but the network is expected to make the announcement in a few weeks. Strahan has been one of the many guest co-hosts to work with Ripa on the Live! show. Football fans who like him on Fox NFL Sunday might not have to worry: The Los Angeles Times speculated a few days ago that he would probably keep that gig even if he got the ABC job.
