Americans on Hard-working Rich: Admirable, Greedy

Oh, and more intelligent and less honest: Pew Research Center poll

(Newser) – Good news for the 1%: A little more than 40% of Americans think you are more intelligent and more hardworking than the average Joe, according to a new Pew Research Center poll. And if you worked hard to get your money, then 92% of middle-class Americans would describe you as admirable. But don't pat yourself on the back just yet: 55% of Americans classified the rich as greedier than the average person, and 34% consider them less honest.

Oh, and you're also not paying enough in taxes, according to 58% of respondents. But 26% say you're doing just fine, and 8% say you pay too much. So what kind of salary would make a family of four in your area "rich"? At least $100,000. The median response was $150,000, with 39% saying between $100,000 and $249,999, and 30% saying more than that. Click for many, many more findings, including some that might surprise: Like the fact that only 49% of upper-class respondents are "very satisfied" with their financial situation.

Got a lot of Benjamins? Americans may consider you more intelligent than the average Joe.

I would never accuse them of being not hard working. Unless I knew one of them specifically and knew their habbits... I would also never say they were more hard working. Maybe they were smart enough or lucky enough to work in lucrative fields, maybe they have a knack for what they do that happens to yield a lot of money, perhaps they are just good and smart about creating money from nothing. However, I work 60+ hours a week and many people I work with work more. There is no way I am saying the rich are harder working. No way in hell. I am sure they have lazy rich just like the rest of us suckas!

Only multi-millionaire I actually know worked his ass off to acquire his fortune in real estate developments He once told me his philosophy in life was "Hey, IF I only get one life, then I'll live 2 lives to get things done" Once on a Mon.nite football, we got up at halftime and installed a new screen door- back in time for 2nd half. He used to go to bed after work, wake up at 9pm then go out and party most of the night, close the bars. Those who are earned their wealth deserve it. Those who plundered for wealth do not. Can we say "BAIN"?

Surveys like this are not worth the money it cost to get them. Numbers can be skewed to show anything. Y'all are wasting you time even commenting on this because the validity of this "survey" is not worth shit. And you can call me................Mr Joshua
