Here Comes Honey Boo Boo might be the newest smash hit reality show, but 7-year-old pageant contestant Alana Thompson and her offbeat family in rural Georgia aren't exactly getting crazy rich. The TLC show registered a strong 3 million viewers for its last episode—more than any network got airing the Republican convention—but the Hollywood Reporter reveals TLC pays the family a modest $2,000 to $4,000 an episode. Which means the family might get about $40,000 for the whole season. TLC wouldn't confirm, but THR calls that a "lucrative" deal for the network.
