A popular Christian rapper known as Bizzle was shot dead at a car wash in Miami's Liberty City district last night while his two young children were in his SUV just a few feet away, reports the Miami Herald. An emotional crowd of hundreds of people gathered in the street after the shooting of the 37-year-old, whose real name was Robert Labranche.
"This is someone that was definitely loved, not just by his family but by his community," a police spokesman tells NBC Miami. The rapper was shot after getting into an argument with somebody at the business, but no arrests have been made, the spokesman says. Labranche's two children, both under 10, were not hurt and did not witness the shooting.
