(Newser) – No Shaq, No Dwyane Wade: big problem last night for the spiraling Miami Heat, who lost again, this time in a tight one at Dallas, 94-89. The outcome was in doubt until a steal by the Mavs' Devin Harris clinched it. Dirk Nowitzki had 24 points,10 rebounds and a three-pointer to put his team ahead for good. In other NBA action:

  • Cleveland overcame an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter with an 18-2 run to defeat a depleted Sacramento squad. LeBron James had 24 points and 10 assists.
  • Atlanta put up little fight in a 22-point blowout loss at Indiana, which was led by Danny Granger with 32 points. Said Hawks coach Mike Woodson: "We just stunk tonight."
