Three Brooklyn men have been killed by the same gun in the past four months, leading police to suspect a serial killer, the New York Daily News reports. All three men owned stores in Brooklyn, all were killed in their shops around closing time, and all were of Middle Eastern descent. In another creepy similarity, the address for each store includes the number 8, leading police to wonder if the killer is interested in numerology. The murderer has left shell casings at each crime scene. "It's like he's telling us, 'It's me again,'" a police source says.

  • Mohammed Gebeli, 65, was shot in the neck in his store, Valentino Fashion, July 6. The killer dragged his body to the back of the store and covered it.
  • Isaac Kadare, 59, was shot in the head and stabbed in the neck in his store, Amazing 99 Cent Deals, August 2. The murderer dragged his body to a different spot as well; police speculate this may be an attempt to delay the discovery of the bodies.
  • Rahmatolla Vahidipour, 78, was shot in the head and chest three times in his store, She She Boutique, Friday. The killer dragged him 10 feet toward the rear of the store and covered his body with clothes.
The Daily News has a sketch of one suspect. (More Rahmatolla Vahidipour stories.)
