RedState.com founder Erick Erickson, the conservative blogger who endorsed the "sweet meteor of death" over any of the GOP candidates for president, is considering entering the political fray himself, CNN reports. Erickson, who is also a CNN contributor, may challenge Georgia Sen. Saxby Chambliss in the primaries in 2014, he revealed last night on his talk radio show.

"I had been rather dismissive of it, but in the past two days have been approached by several organizations and individuals I greatly respect who have asked me to really consider it," Erickson said. "I owe them that and will consider it, but am not prepared to commit to it. I have plenty of time to think about it." Conservatives are angry with Chambliss for dissing Grover Norquist's anti-tax pledge. (More Erick Erickson stories.)
