It's Official: Nicole Kidman Is Pregnant

(Newser) – After two failed pregnancies and two adopted children, actress Nicole Kidman is pregnant. Kidman and husband Keith Urban "are thrilled," said her publicist, who declined to specify a due date, reports the Australian. Kidman was set to begin shooting on a new World War II drama in Germany but has pulled out of the project.

During her former marriage to Tom Cruise, the couple adopted two children, now aged 14 and 12. In an interview last year Kidman revealed that she had suffered a failed pregnancy at the beginning of her marriage to Cruise and a miscarriage at its end. She called the experience "incredibly traumatic."
