Romney to Pacquiao: Hello, Manny, I Ran for Prez, I Lost

So did Pacquiao in knockout stunner

(Newser) – Mitt Romney continued his post-election re-entry last night by taking in the fourth fight between boxer Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, and the AP notes that the candidate dropped by Pacquiao's dressing room beforehand with this strange greeting: "Hello Manny. I ran for president. I lost." Pacquiao is a congressman in his native Philippines, and has professed to having presidential ambitions, so perhaps Romney was preemptively softening the blow of defeat. And the boxer would need it: Marquez stunned him, and his home country, with a knockout defeat. "This is like (Typhoon Bopha) took a U-turn and came back to hit us with a Pacquiao knockout," says one boxing analyst, calling it a "double tragedy."

Mitt was just subtly telling him he needed to throw the fight because Mitt bet a fortune against him. "I lost" wink, wink.

Man the dude is just a hopeless dork thank god he didn't win no telling what kind of negative impact he might have made out of his Presidency? He has the opposite of the "Midas Touch" in every social confrontation he makes.
