Mom Squashed Lanza's Dream to Join Marines

Said fact that he 'didn't like to be touched' would be a problem: friend

(Newser) – One of Nancy Lanza's "closest friends" is trying to help answer the nagging question: Who was Adam Lanza? Ellen Adriani tells the Connecticut Post that Lanza figured out what he wanted to do with his life at age 17: Join the Marines, or another branch of the military. She says Nancy was supportive at first, but later "squashed" the idea. "It became overwhelmingly clear to her that it wasn't right for him." Nancy pointed out "that he didn't like to be touched," and that "doctors and medics would have to handle him" should he be injured while fighting.

Adriani acknowledges that she doesn't know if Adam Lanza became depressed as his military dream unraveled. But the Post does note that Lanza went on his spree "outfitted for war," clad in body armor and black clothing. Adriani adds that Nancy had begun to give Adam a little more responsibility and leeway in recent days, leaving him home alone as she traveled and having him do some grocery shopping. (Another recent revelation: Nancy may have been planning to have Adam committed.) But Adam Lanza left precious few clues behind: Read more about that here.

And there you have it. Mommy tied the apron strings way too tight. She had already driven away the other two men in her life and there was NO WAY she was gonna let little Adam leave her side, until it was too late. The hand tha rocks the cradle rules the world... but that hand can never comprehend the consequences of squeezing the baby too tight, til it's TOO LATE.

Didn't like to be touched." Next it will be "discovered" that his mother sexually molested him!

I really wish media would stop reporting on him at all. I only want to see the hero teachers and students names, not this bastard.
