I assume the reason why Christian Slater made this movie was because he needed to make a house payment.

Slater had actually had some great roles and played them well. "True Romance" for one. "Very Bad Things" is another. If you haven't seen both of these, you don't know how convincing Slater is.

Christian Slater is nothing more than a bad impersonation of Jack Nicholson.  Just like Sean Penn is a bad impersonation of Robert DeNiro.
