(Newser) – Surprised that Kanye West would break the news that he's having a baby with Kim Kardashian at a concert? So was Kardashian: She had "no idea" of Kanye's plan, sources tell TMZ. In fact, the publicity-hungry couple supposedly hadn't even discussed the pregnancy announcement, and Kim was planning to wait until she starts showing before telling the world (she's currently 12 weeks along, sources say). But apparently she was unfazed: Sources add that she was weeping with joy during Kanye's revelation, and was particularly emotional because he made the announcement while performing "Lost in the World," one of her favorite songs. And she didn't lose any time making her own feelings known: On her blog today, Kim wrote that she and Kanye "feel so blessed and lucky."

So why did Kanye decide to open his mouth without his babymama's knowledge or consent? Because Kim's best friend and mother, as well as some of his own family members, were at the show, sources explain. As recently as Saturday, Kim was masking what was probably morning sickness, Perez Hilton points out: She blogged about watching brother-in-law Lamar Odom play basketball recently, noting that she had to leave the game early because "I started to feel a little ill (I caught the flu over the Christmas holidays!)." Another recent hint unveiled by TMZ: The couple were recently photographed leaving her OB-GYN together.
