(Newser) – When the Bluths and Arrested Development make their triumphant return in May on Netflix, Kristen Wiig and Seth Rogen will be two of the guest stars making appearances, reports US Weekly. Rogen's role isn't known, but the Vulture blog says Wiig will play a young Lucille Bluth.

I really hope they are just cameo appearances like Charlize Theron's bit.  The original characters still have so much to give and I don't know if Kristin or Seth have the kind of "quick wit" that makes Arrested so unique.  Toilet humor and sex jokes aren't needed to make arrested funny, so I hope they can raise their standard of comedy and deliver AD level.  I'm a bit skeptical but hopeful that they will be able to rise to the occasion and I am sure they feel the pressure, so I guess good on them for taking the risk on more challenging material.
