(Newser) – A shootout and resulting multicar accident in the early hours on the Las Vegas Strip has killed three people and injured at least three more, reports KTNV News. The gunfight was first reported at 4:20am, as people in a Maserati and an SUV exchanged fire, before the Maserati ran into a taxi. The Maserati driver, taxi driver, and a taxi passenger were all killed, reports the AP.

The accident also caused the taxi to burst into flames and involved three other vehicles. The SUV involved in the initial shooting was gone by the time police arrived. Three people were treated at a hospital and released while the Maserati's passenger is being treated for multiple bullet wounds. Witnesses described the burning taxi as looking like a "fireball."

A gun battle between two cars on the Vegas Strip early this morning has left three dead, at least three injured, and caused a five-car accident.

WHOM EVER WAS DRIVING THE MASERATI --- COULD HAVE EASLY ESCAPED!!!!! Instead they treatd like an action movie & here are the final results.......  !!!!FAIL!!!! Maserati 0-60 in 6 or 8 seconds / SUV 0-60 in 12 - 20 seconds. The suv should have been red lined just trying to keep in view of TAIL LIGHTS.

The most rediculous part of the story is how the media twists the headlines to make guns look like the guilty party. These people were killed by car crash and fireball but the title leads us to believe they died from being shot. The media is a partner to the tyranny going on gainst America. They have no shame!

There are enough strip cameras in Vegas to choke a horse. How anything can get by unnoticed is beyond belief. Another thing, since when is a Escalade considered a getaway car?
