Casey Anthony is ... still a brunette. Anthony, who has steered clear of the public eye since being released from prison in 2011, surfaced today to appear in court in Tampa as part of her bankruptcy proceedings, Tampa Bay Online reports. It describes her as carrying a wide-brimmed black hat, wearing sunglasses and black heels, and seeming "flustered and hurried." She was protectively led into court by one of the attorneys from her former defense team, and ignored the questions that rang out as she passed. Radar notes that a WFTV reporter in particular kept yelling, "Did you get away with murder?"

Last week, a judge ruled to keep the case in Tampa, though Zenaida Gonzalez, who is suing Anthony for defamation, wanted the case transferred to Orlando. Gonzalez's lawyers say Anthony wants the case in Tampa in order to avoid media scrutiny, but Anthony's bankruptcy attorney says she's just not safe in Orlando. In her Chapter 7 filing, she listed $1,100 in assets and $792,000 in debts. (More Casey Anthony stories.)
