(Newser) – Former Polish President Lech Walesa sparked outrage earlier this month when he said gays have no right to a prominent role in politics, adding that any gay lawmakers should sit in the back of Parliament or "even behind the wall." But, though an activist filed a formal complaint against the Nobel Peace Prize laureate for promoting the hatred of a sexual minority, prosecutors announced today that he did not commit a crime under Polish law.

He is as entitled to his own views as is anyone else in the USA, under that Constitution he is entitled to express those views. So long as he does not damage anyone by expressing his views, I see no reason to charge him with any crime. I AGREE WITH HIS VIEWS REGARDING hOMOSEXUALS.
