(Newser) – George Zimmerman's brother is apologizing for his racially charged Twitter rant earlier in the week, saying it was wrong and probably bad for his brother's case, reports Reuters. Robert Zimmerman posted pictures comparing the teens who shot a baby in a stroller last week to Trayvon Martin, tweeting comments like, "Lib media shld ask if what these2 black teens did 2 a woman&baby is the reason ppl think blacks mightB risky." "I made a mistake," said Robert Zimmerman Jr. on CNN's Piers Morgan Live. "It unfortunately may not have helped George."

I am sure when a jury acquits George Zimmerman for shooting this thug the papers will be gushing with apologies to George and his family. And I am sure Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson will publically admit they rushed to judgement on national TV. Love the double standard no accountability for these dopes yet Zimmerman's brother gets savaged because he had enough and lashes out.

i've gotta cut this guy a break. the kind of pressure his family has been under would cause anybody to flip out at some point. his "twitter mistake" was pretty mild, all things considered.
