Mike Rice 'deeply sorry' after player abuse scandal

(Newser) – Mike Rice, the Rutgers basketball coach fired after he was caught on video abusing players, says he is "deeply sorry for the pain and the hardship that I've caused." He tells ABC News there's "no explanation for what's on those films because there is no excuse for it, I was wrong." He adds, "I've let so many people down—my players, my administration, Rutgers University, the fans, my family, who's sitting in their house, just huddled around because of the fact that their father was an embarrassment to them."

Now his kids and wife know what an idiot he is. I wonder if he treats his kids and wife like he treats the guys on his team.

As bad as he was for doing what he did, at least he sounds like he's legit about being regretfull. His reponse didnt sound like it was full of excuses or talking around the subject like we usually here in the news.
