(Newser) – Well, this can't feel great: The Democrat who opposed Elizabeth Colbert Busch in the primary for a vacant congressional seat has endorsed her Republican opponent, former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford. Ben Frasier got only 4% of the vote last month against Colbert Busch, the sister of political satirist Stephen Colbert. Frasier says that he's a conservative Democrat and that Colbert Busch doesn't represent the district's conservative values. Colbert Busch faces Sanford and Green Party candidate Eugene Platt in next month's special election.

Too bad she didn't live in N. Carolina. The parents of any student wishing to register to vote in their college town, will face a tax INCREASE by Republicans. Then the GOP will only consent to 1 single place to vote in an advanced poll - for the entire State. This is how Republicans win, by cheating, lying and now block the youth vote. If that doesn't work, they'll tax parents in every Republican States.

I do not think that what Frasier says or does will matter to Ms. Colbert Busch at all. Almost no one that I have spoken to believes Frasier to be an actual Democrat. The members of the Democratic Party do not seem to glory in accusing fellow Dems of being DINOs (Democrats In Name Only) the way that RINO is tossed about, but that seems to be the best that could be said of Frasier. Most who are familiar with Frasier believe him to be motivated by outside factors.
