(Newser) – Wesley Snipes is a free man again, relatively speaking. The actor has been released from prison and moved to house arrest in New York City, reports TMZ. He had been serving a three-year sentence since December 2010 for failure to pay about $7 million in federal taxes from 1999 to 2001. At the time, he took what turned out to be very bad advice from his accountant and an anti-tax crusader about how he could get away with it, reports USA Today. His home confinement ends in mid-July.
