Texas Charges Woman With DA Murders Husband, disgraced justice of peace, also likely to be charged By Kevin Spak, Newser Staff Posted Apr 17, 2013 10:01 AM CDT 12 comments Comments Eric Williams is seen in this mugshot. (Kaufman County Sheriff's Office) (Newser) – Someone has been charged for the murder of a Texas DA and his family—and it's not an entirely expected suspect. Kim Williams, 46, was arrested and booked on capital murder charges this morning, and is being held on a $10 million bond, the Dallas Morning News reports. Williams is the wife of ex-justice of the peace Eric Williams, who was arrested in connection with the murders on Saturday. Eric Williams has not yet been charged with capital murder but likely will be, law enforcement officials say. Right now he's charged with "terroristic threat"; authorities say they have evidence linking him to an anonymous threat issued after the murders of DA Mike McLelland and his wife promising more killings if certain demands weren't met. Those demands haven't been made public. They believe Williams had a grudge against McLelland for prosecuting him for computer monitor theft.
