(Newser) – Joe Manchin wants to take another crack at gun control, telling Fox New Sunday that he's going to retool his failed proposal on background checks to bring it to the Senate floor. “We’re going to work this bill with all of our hearts," he said today. "I truly believe that if we have time to sell the bill... read the bill and tell me what you don't like." Manchin says bill co-sponsor Pat Toomey—who Friday signaled it was time to move on— is "totally committed" to the legislation. "I don't think he's done," says Manchin, according to Politico.

I'm glad that I stayed in Canada. Why move back to America. The rich and powerful can take away your health, your vote and your life.

Do traffic laws prevent all accidents and deaths? No. Should we repeal all traffic laws? Gun laws or any other law is not a 100% proposition. Is any law 100% effective? No. Gun reform is NOT dividing the country. 90% approval is not a criteria for division. A tiny but obnoxiously-vocal opponent of any gun law DOES exhibit cruelty and self centerdness.

Gun reform has to happen. Never give up as long as one human being wants to live. Gun nuts and gun makers promote death over absurd propaganda from the gun makers. Gun nuts are too easily conned by the gun makers.
