(Newser) – Another woman has been raped on a bus in Rio de Janiero, despite the mayor's pledge to boost security on public transport after the gang-rape of an American tourist in March. In the latest attack, witnesses say an armed man ordered other passengers to the front of the bus and told the driver to keep going while he raped a female passenger, the BBC reports. The man, who appeared to be on drugs, robbed other passengers before leaving the bus and fleeing across a busy highway. (Read more Rio de Janeiro stories.)
