The Volunteers only hit 47.1% of their free throws, but Tyler Smith made two when it counted with 11 seconds left to put the game away. JaJuan Smith led Tennessee with 15 points. - Kansas State handed No. 10 Texas A&M its second road loss of the week as Michael Beasley scored 21 in a 75-54 Big 12 win.
- Deonta Vaughn scored 14 points to lead Cincinnati to a 62-59 upset of No. 15 Pittsburgh. The Bearcats, who beat Villanova last week, are 2-0 in the Big East.
