(Newser) – Police probing a possible murder in Massachusetts have searched the home of New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, but investigators aren't commenting on what link he may have to the case, the Sun Chronicle reports. Hernandez isn't considered a suspect in the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found around a mile away from Hernandez's home, sources tell Sports Illustrated, but a vehicle rented in Hernandez's name is believed to be a focus of the investigation.

The problem with these young wealthy athletes, is that many of them surround themselves with an entourage of people who are just using them and don't really care about them. Not sure what happened here, but I'm guessing it had to do with one of his scummy hometown "friends", who has clung to Harnandez's wealth and fame.
