(Newser) – Jessica Korda isn't exactly clinging to the old adage about dancing with the one who brought you: The golfer started yesterday's US Women's Open with caddie Jason Gilroyed, but right after the ninth hole it was boyfriend Johnny DelPreti who was schlepping her clubs, reports Yahoo's Devil Ball Golf blog. Korda and Gilroyed apparently weren't seeing eye to eye on the front nine, leading Korda to fire Gilroyed on the spot, saying, "Johnny, grab the bag, let's go." The strategy worked at least a bit: Korda improved from 40 on the front nine to 36 on the back, and is sitting in sixth place. "I care about Jason a lot. He is a great guy,'' Korda said later. "That was one of those things today that it just unfolded. It was very hard for me to do. I'm not that type of person to take these things really easily." Of DelPreti, she said, "He was telling me, 'Put me in, coach, put me in.'"

That must have been something the spectator at the tournament will never forget.

She is the typical self serving, spoiled brat, coming up through our society laden with youth who think they are far better and more deserving than they are. This is ludicrous behavior and gold should not allow spoiled brats to fire anyone in public, let alone on TV, and in front of thousands if not millions. If you did that in a real job with a real company, you would be sued many times over with all the witnesses you could ever ask for, for her violating the most basic of HR policies. Although, maybe he told her exactly what we all think of her too!!! Let's hope he did and got the last word...
