(Newser) – Hollywood is still apparently a man's world. Angelina Jolie is the highest-paid actress on the new Forbes list, though she would have squeaked in only at No. 10 on the men's side. She pulled in $33 million between June 2012 and June 2013, a far cry from the $75 million made by the No. 1 among male actors, Robert Downey Jr. The top 5 women and their big money-makers:

  1. Angelina Jolie, $33 million (Disney's Maleficent, a retelling of Sleeping Beauty due out next summer)
  2. Jennifer Lawrence, $26 million (Silver Linings Playbook, for which she won an Oscar, and, of course, the Hunger Games franchise)
  3. Kristen Stewart, $22 million (Snow White and the Huntsman, but the former No. 1 has dropped in the rankings with the Twilight franchise over)
  4. Jennifer Aniston, $20 million (We're the Millers)
  5. Emma Stone, $16 million (The Amazing Spider-Man)

That's too much money. It should be a crime while 1/3 of Americans are poor by many standards. Afterall, what do these people do "...more than learning [their] lines and not bumping into the furniture."

These salaries will help drive Hollywood out of business in the not too distant future. Well that and the shitty movies that they make.
