(Newser) – A twisted tale out of Washington state: Prosecutors allege a man shot an iPhone video of a girl, 8, performing oral sex at Belfair Elementary School, where he served as PTA president. The video was then shared online, CNN reports. The trail began with investigators in Denmark and Australia, who alerted the FBI to a "large number" of child porn files on various websites—including one with a GPS stamp that synced with the location of the school. An email address led investigators to David Navarro, 37, who was charged last week. It's not clear if he's the man in the video, which is believed to have been made in May.

Navarro had access to a school key and passed a background check, the district superintendent tells the Seattle Times, though he was arrested in 2009 for lewd and lascivious acts with a child and indecent exposure; the charges were dropped. Yet another disturbing note: The FBI believes the video of the 8-year-old is one of six featuring her. Navarro is now in jail awaiting a detention hearing today; investigators seized computers, an iPhone 5, and two pairs of boxers from his home last week. He faces multiple charges, including producing, owning, and distributing child pornography.

Can we Please reinstate the death penalty for serial pedophiles? Whether they are priests, politicians, teachers, college coaches, and all the rest. There is no reason why any of these "things" should continue to use up good air.
