(Newser) – Quincy Jones has sued Michael Jackson's estate, claiming he is owed millions in royalties and production fees on some of the superstar's greatest hits. Jones' lawsuit seeks at least $10 million from the singer's estate and Sony Music Entertainment, arguing that the entities improperly re-edited songs to deprive him of royalties and production fees. The producer worked with Jackson on three of his most popular solo albums, Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad.

Jackson's hits "Billie Jean," "Thriller," and "Don't Stop `Til You Get Enough" are among the songs Jones claims were re-edited to deprive him of royalties and his producer's fee. Jackson's estate wrote in a statement that it was saddened by Jones' lawsuit. "To the best of its knowledge, Mr. Jones has been appropriately compensated over approximately 35 years for his work with Michael."

Nothing but disgusting vultures suing a dead man's estate. Let this man and his family rest in peace.

When the truth comes out and the sinner get sued, you can always hear: The rabids a crying!!!! The sun is going to set soon, and when it comes out again tomorrow, our hero Dr. Murray will be walking the street breathing the air of freedom. Wow, I wish MJ would not be turning in his little urn in the wall. The fact that Quincy sue with the same lawyers representing Wade, only tells me that Wade was telling the truth, as legitimate as Quincy. MJ'v evil deeds are so far reaching, so stop calling people who makes a claim names. Why don't you call the wacko kids name who claim to be bio kids??? Quincy should sue for 10 times of that more!

I don't know how the music industry works or the ins and out's of the law on these matters but why did he wait until now to file this suit? 10 million is nothing to Quincy. Why not when Michael was alive? Unless he is saying the family edited the music and re-released it after his death. That poor mother of Michael's, I feel bad for her because she is in the middle of it all and I think it's her kids who are manipulating her into doing these things.....the law suits, releasing music edited (if that's what happen) etc etc. She is gonna go to her grave while still fighting in the courts.
