The No. 1 Memphis Tigers beat the Houston Cougars 89-77 and at 20-0 matched the best start in school history. Chris Douglas-Roberts had 30 points and Joey Dorsey snared 22 rebounds. Memphis dominated the smaller Houston squad down low; the Tigers outrebounded the Cougars 49-29 and had 44 points in the paint, reports the Associated Press. Dion Dowell led Houston with 23 points.
