Bill Beckwith was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle in San Francisco, a police spokesperson says; the car's driver was cooperative. Beckwith, a carpenter, founded his own construction company in the city in 2001. "My love: so kind, so bright, adventurous and strong," wrote girlfriend Yulia Korneeva on a Facebook memorial page. "You are loved by so many good people! I wish you could stay with us for way longer."

"We are heartbroken," reads a post on the show's official Facebook page. "Bill was truly a beloved and respected member of our Curb Appeal family and this loss is devastating to us. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Bill's family."

Jack Nicholson warned him. Minutes after the report, the 76-year-old Oscar winner was dining at the Wolseley restaurant in London when a photographer told him about Bill Beckwith's death. After saying, "That's awful," Jack added “I warned him," and refused to elaborate.

Why does an article about Bill Beckwith not have his photo in it? Only a stock photo of police tape and an image of his show's title? Strange.
