The good news if you're a space fan is that the Geminid meteor shower, one of the better shows of the year, peaks tonight. The bad news is that you might have to wait until the moon sets to get the best views, reports NPR. Generally speaking, that doesn't happen until about 3:45am local time, so you're looking at between 4am and dawn as your best chance to see a shooting star or three. For those who prefer to stay warm, Space.com has links to online shows through the night via Slooh and NASA. Get to them both from here.
