(Newser) – Robin Roberts came out to colleagues and friends long ago, but in a Facebook post yesterday, she opened up to the public for the first time. In a post marking a year since the "critical milestone of 100 days post-transplant," she thanked all those who have helped her along the way, including her "longtime girlfriend, Amber." The pair have been an item for a decade, Mediabistro reports. Amber Laign is a massage therapist from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Robin Roberts coming out...This is news? So what... Who cares what she does in her bedroom. That's her business.

That was about as shocking as Brian Boitano, Rosie O'Donnell and Elton John "coming out".

Who cares who is homo? Big deal, as long as homos or heteros leave other people alone who don't like their advances.
