Stanford Ekes Out OT Win Over WSU

No. 2 Kansas handles Colorado, No. 3 Duke trounces Miami

(Newser) – Brook Lopez and Lawrence Hill scored 18 points each to lead No. 14 Stanford to a 67-65 overtime win over No. 9 Washington State yesterday, reports the Associated Press. The Pac-10 game wasn't decided until Robin Lopez scored with 12 seconds left in OT for the Cardinal (18-3, 7-2). The Cougars (17-4, 5-4) missed one last shot. In other Top 25 action:

  • Darnell Jackson scored 18 points as No. 2 Kansas (21-1, 6-1) bounced back from its first loss of the season to beat Colorado in a Big-12 game.
  • No. 3 Duke (19-1, 7-0) used 21 points from DeMarcus Nelson to extend its winning streak to nine with an 88-73 ACC win over Miami.
